Tucker is a city located in DeKalb County in the US state of Georgia, approximately 15 miles (24 km) northeast of downtown Atlanta.

Origin of Tucker City
Originally settled in the 1820s, and later developed as a railroad community in 1892.
In a November 2015 referendum, voters approved incorporating Tucker into a city. In March 2016, Tucker residents elected the city’s first mayor and city council.
According to the 2016 United States Census Bureau Annual Resident Population Estimate, it has a population of 35,322.
